At Game in the Making, our creative talent will take you through the development of two serious games designed to inspire real-world change:

• The Garden of Life is a whimsical puzzle game developed for Games For Health. Players become scientists as they puzzle to find the right conditions to place their colorful plants and flowers. The gameplay mimics the biology behind a treatment for B-cell lymphoma, a type of cancer. As you play, you aid scientists and doctors to find the best possible match for their patients – turning citizen science into an easily accessed and fun experience.
• Viral Impact is a roguelike game developed for ’s Heeren Loo that guides players through a series of digital worlds inspired by popular social media platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram. Designed specifically for individuals with mild intellectual disabilities, the game aims to support safer and more confident navigation of the online social landscape.
